Was Well Represented at the Annual Pennsylvania Medical Society House of Delegates
Members of the Montgomery County Medical Society Delegation for 2007 met in Hershey Pennsylvania on October 20-21 at the Annual Pennsylvania Medical Society-House of Delegates Meeting to deliberate and craft Policy and Agenda for the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

“DOCTORS ON CALL” PROGRAM- Broadcasted on KYW, CBS 3
Many local residents had the opportunity to discuss their medical concerns with physicians as part of a program from the Pennsylvania Medical Society called “Doctors on Call.” On May 23. The televised special was air as a part of CBS 3 broadcasts from 4 to 7 p.m. that evening.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY
WELCOMES 2005 FOUNDATION RECIPIENTS
M.C.M.S. FOUNDATION-In 2005, the Montgomery County Medical Society Foundation distributed $6400 to 11 nonprofit agencies in Montgomery County. The purpose of the Montgomery County Medical Society Foundation Award program is to dispense grants annually to charitable organizations, whose services include the improvement of the mental and physical well being of the inhabitants of Montgomery County.
Frank J. Tornetta, MD and H. Tom Tamaki, MD have been the Co-Chairs of the Subcommittee on Distribution of the Foundation for over forty years. The Foundation was established in 1964 with donations from the Polio Immunization program.
